Abstract:

Тhe dissertation proposes a new FOLD method for generating random variables with aprescribed correlation coefficient, as well as its application in determining the measurement uncertainty using the Monte Carlo method. A comparison of the developed FOLD method and the standard MVUD method was performed according to the execution time, as well as the difference between the sample and the prescribed correlation coefficient. It has been shown that the new method is more efficient according to both criteria. The application of the FOLD method in the field of electrical measurement is given through the comparison of the measurement uncertainty of the correlated quantities determined on the basis of the recommendations given by the GUM and Monte Carlo methods. An experiment was performed to determine the ratio of the resistor divider.
