Abstract:
The aim of the studies described in this thesis is to investigate methods to improve the therapeutic efficacy and safety of PCa targeting tracers by comparing and selecting the most optimal PCa targeting tracer, by exploring combined PCa-TRT with radiosensitizing strategies, by analyzing the effects of different therapeutic radionuclides, and lastly by identifying the acute, early and/or late radiotoxic effects caused by PCa-TRT. The results of these studies together have increased the general knowledge of PCa-TRT for PCa cancer, which will aid the development and improvement of the currently clinical available treatment options for PCa patients.
