Abstract:
Navigating a massive amount of (online) information can be difficult, especially for youth aged 12 to 15. Helping these early adolescents with their news literacy application could be a solution. That is, encouraging them to ask questions like: Is this content relevant? Is it credible too? This dissertation examines how early adolescents interact with news and describes initiatives to promote their news literacy application.
